Yahoo Movies Property Brother Jonathan Scott Reveals New Home (and That Massive Gold Chandelier Is...Something)
Like everyone else, we’ve shipped Zooey Deschanel and Jonathan Scott’s relationship since we saw them hit it off while filming Carpool Karaoke in 2019. And ICYMI, the New Girl alum and Property Brothers star recently shared a sneak peek of their dream home—which they’ve dubbed “Park House”—in the brothers' magazine, Drew + Jonathan Reveal (which hits newsstands on June 24).
One feature we’re already coveting from their new abode? The dramatic lighting from their dining room. In a video shared to Jonathan’s Instagram, the couple kvells over two fixtures from Julie Neill’s Dumaine collection—along with a custom built-in and dandelion wallpaper in the background. He captions it: “Can you tell that @zooeydeschanel and I are really excited to put the finishing touches on the Park House? Can’t wait to show you the whole place… videos soon!”
The video features a voiceover that utters, “look at this!” as he pans from a pierced leaf chandelier to a single pierced leaf sconce. And we have to agree; the gilded, leaf-shaped lighting boasts intricate details that are definitely worth a stop and stare.

To that end, may we just say, we’re obsessed with everything in this dining room. The look verges on classic-boho—from “dope-ass [upholstery]” that flaunts Deschanel’s quirky, eclectic style to traditional moldings and hardware that reflect Scott's signature Property Brothers aesthetic. It’s a whimsical yet upscale vibe that embodies the couple’s blended lifestyle.
“This is a house that suits our tastes and needs, aesthetically and functionally,” says Deschanel on drewandjonathan.com. “Jonathan is so amazing at figuring that out. He’s been doing it for his clients for so long, and now he’s done that for us and our family.”
