It seems we could be getting even more Purge movies in the future – at least according to producer Jason Blum.
The horror franchise kicked-off with 2013's The Purge, which is set in a dystopian society where all crime is legal for one night a year.
However, fans may not have to mourn just yet. The Blumhouse founder has suggested that more could be made in the future after all.
"I would never say its end is set in stone," Blum told RadioTimes.com. "Hopefully, I'll talk [creator] James [DeMonaco] into making a couple more."
It comes after DeMonaco told Entertainment Weekly in 2018 of a fifth movie: "I think it's a great way to end it all. We want to end it all, I think, in this one, and I'm very excited. When I came up with the idea and pitched it to everybody, they seemed psyched, and I think it will be a really cool ending, how we take this one home."
The series did have a rocky start, however, with DeMonaco initially having to clarify what the show was actually about after reports suggested it wouldn't be based around a purge night.
The Purge seasons 1 and 2 can be watched in the UK via Amazon Prime Video.
