Rachel Weisz has confessed she enjoyed letting go and unleashing her wicked side to play a witch in Oz: The Great And Powerful.
The Bourne Legacy star plays Evanora, the Wicked Witch of the East, in Sam Raimi's Wizard Of Oz prequel, and told Harper's Bazaar what fun it was to be a bad girl.
Rachel said: "Because Evanora revels in her badness, she revels in Machiavellian-ness. I guess being bad is a lot of fun."
She added: "That's what's so great about acting, you're not really responsible. I mean, I'm polite to everyone on set and I'm not a struggle to work with, but in terms of how you get to treat people, it's carte blanche, because it's fiction - no one's really going to get hurt. And it's a very joyful place to let go."
The actress - who is married to James Bond star Daniel Craig - stars in an eight page photoshoot for the March issue of the magazine, looking elegant as ever in designs by Gucci, Ralph Lauren, Prada, Salvatore Ferragamo and Fendi.
