Ralph Fiennes Pulls Out Bizarre Dance Moves At Venice Film Festival

Not quite moves like Jagger, Ralph… like Jagger’s dad, maybe.

- SPECTRE poste pays homage to Bond’s past
- Actors who were much older than their characters
- Movie moments that happened by mistake

SPECTRE star Fiennes, rather than simply posing for pictures at the Venice Film Festival, instead decided to pull out some thoroughly bizarre dance moves.

Some of them were genuinely disturbing.

His tongue lolling out, many of the moves appeared distinctly simian in nature, as he took to the red carpet.

He even garnered some applause for the moves from the assembled crowd of movie fans and paparazzi.

We can only presume that they were simply frightened.

Fiennes, 52, was in town over the weekend for the gala screening of his latest movie ‘A Bigger Splash’.

Directed by Luca Guadagnino, it stars Fiennes as Harry, who with his daughter Penelope (Dakota Johnson), disrupt the holiday of his old friends, a rock star and his filmmaker wife, played by Tilda Swinton and Matthias Schoenaerts.

According to the movie’s synopsis, the visit creates 'a whirlwind of jealousy, passion and, ultimately, danger for everyone involved’.

Swinton, not estranged to a dance herself, was the very soul of discretion by comparison.

Fiennes is next up in SPECTRE, reprising his role as M, having taken over the position from Dame Judi Dench in the Bond series.

Let’s enjoy this moment for now shall we?

It’s due out on October 26.
