Rebel Moon's Ray Fisher teases "wild battles" in Part Two
Rebel Moon – Part One: A Child of Fire spoilers follow.
Rebel Moon star Ray Fisher has teased plenty more action in upcoming sequel Rebel Moon – Part Two: The Scargiver.
Speaking exclusively to Digital Spy about what fans can expect from The Scargiver, Fisher and co-stars Michiel Huisman, Sofia Boutella and Ed Skrein promised a more intimate look at the characters as well as a lot of "wild battles" in the sequel.
"More action, wild battles, and a lot more of an intimate look at all the characters that you get to get a taste of in Part One," Fisher said, while Huisman added that fans will get a better understanding of the characters introduced in Part One.
Premiering on Netflix today (December 22), sci-fi movie Rebel Moon – Part One: A Child of Fire follows the story of Kora (Boutella), who assembles a group of rebel warriors to take on the militaristic Motherworld, after they destroyed her home planet.

Boutella went on to reveal that Part Two will also provide "context" for the characters, as well as a look at their individual back stories.
"What I can say is that we'll get more context, and we will get to go individually, with each and every character, deeper, to get to know them," she said.
"Most of the characters are really well-defined. You'll get a backstory. That's what I can say. You'll get to really get to know them, and why they are the way they are. The whole group will get to know them deeper. And more context, essentially."

Skrein added: "Yeah. I think the most important word there is 'more'. It's more. If you enjoy this space opera in Part One, then you're getting more."
Set to premiere on April 19, 2024, Part Two will see Boutella reprise her role as Kora alongside Huisman's Gunnar and Skrein's villain Atticus Noble and Fra Fee's militant Motherworld leader Regent Balisarius.
The rebels will however have to deal with the loss of Fisher's character Darrian Bloodaxe, who fell during Part One's climactic battle.
