We regret to inform you that Calista Flockhart is giving 'what color is The Dress' vibes at Cannes
Calista Flockhart wore a gown to the "Indiana Jones" Cannes premiere that's... mostly black.
Except when it's looks navy.
Is it black or navy? We can't do The Dress all over again, but this one isn't quite as bad.
Do you remember The Dress? The color-changing dress, of BuzzFeed and Tumblr fame? The dress that appeared white and gold, and sometimes black and blue? That dress? Sorry, now you do. And sorry again, but it's maybe a little bit back.
Calista Flockhart wore a similar color-shifting dress at the Cannes Film Festival to the premiere of her husband Harrison Ford's film "Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny." Flockhart's dress appears black in the majority of photos from the red carpet, except for select instances in which she's lit directly.
The garment's apparently color-changing nature became evident in a post from stylist Elizabeth Stewart, who shared a series of photos of Flockhart and Ford getting ready to go to the premiere. Yes, there's a very cute photo of Ford very clearly smitten with his wife. But we're here for the dress. And folks, the dress looks pretty navy to me here.
Any color-shifting garment online will immediately send most people skyrocketing back to February 26, 2015, when the original dress dominated internet news.

While it originally circulated on Tumblr, The Dress went incomprehensibly viral after Cates Holderness, the then-steward of BuzzFeed's Tumblr account, received a message about it asking for help settling the debate. That prompted Holderness to post a poll on BuzzFeed to determine which color people saw — and it tore the world apart.
Flockhart's color shifting dress, a Zuhair Murad gown, isn't quite as perplexing as The Dress. But still.... we can't do this again. It hasn't been long enough.
