It would appear that we have lost another screen legend… the ‘Naked Gun’ star Leslie Nielsen has died.
Again.
For reasons known only to the strange and meandering expanse of information that is the internet, the comic legend’s death, which first occurred in 2010, has been re-announced, and is now trending around the world.
Many Twitter users who were unaware of his passing the first time around have now started paying their tributes.

It appears that it’s all thanks to a BBC story, published on November 29, 2010, which is being passed around via social media.
Amazingly, the story is now the third most-read story on the whole of the BBC website.
Now in a move that would doubtless have pleased the actor, known for his brilliantly absurd roles in movies like 'Airplane!’ and the TV show 'Police Squad’, the precursor to 'The Naked Gun’, fans are using the opportunity to quote some of his best lines.
