Rob Lowe Slammed For Tweets About Paris Terror Attacks

Rob Lowe has been slammed for tweets he posted following the terrorist attacks in Paris.

The ‘West Wing’ star appeared to be blaming France’s border policy for the violent incidents in the capital on Friday night, which left more than 100 people dead and hundreds more injured.

“Oh, NOW France closes its borders. #Hollande,” he wrote.

Minutes later, during French president Francois Hollande’s speech to his people, Lowe added: “This is either the worst translation of an important speech ever, or one of the worst ever given. #Hollande.”

He was then lambasted by Twitter users and followers for both the sentiment of the tweets and the timing of them.

“Not Rob Lowe! I thought he was one of the good ones (good ones = not jerks),” wrote one user.

Another added: “Rob Lowe is quite honestly a piece of lowlife scum and if you havent seen his tweet please dont search for it its attrocious and upsetting (sic).”

So far Lowe has not commented on the tweets.
