Have The Rock and Vin Diesel put their feud behind them?

Could it be that muscle-bound feud-hounds Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and Vin Diesel have put their differences behind them?

Yesterday, in celebration of The Rock’s 45th year on the planet, Vin dropped him over a message of felicitations.

Sticking a picture of the pair on his Instagram page, he captioned: “To look back at what we have accomplished. Shoulder to shoulder, against impossible odds. Proud… Happy Birthday Hobbs…”.

Hobbs is, of course, the name of The Rock’s character in the ‘Fast & Furious’ series.

To be fair, it was largely The Rock calling out Mr Diesel rather than the other way around, after he proclaimed certain unnamed male co-stars on the ‘Fast & Furious’ movies to be ‘chicken s**t’ and ‘candy asses’ in a social media post after ‘Fast & Furious 8’ wrapped last year.

It lead many to assume that Diesel was the object of his ire, and The Rock has not done much to dissuade people of this assumption.

Still, this feels like an olive branch.

Diesel also told Entertainment Tonight at the premiere of ‘Fast & Furious 8’ that there were no hard feelings as far as he’s concerned.

“We still love each other, that’s my boy,” Diesel said on the red carpet. “In my house, he’s ‘Uncle Dwayne,’ and I’m proud of that.”

It could all have been a massive publicity stunt, of course…
