  • After coming third on this year's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! Roman Kemp headed over the rope bridge towards freedom - and fans think nobody met him at the other end.

  • The radio presenter was runner up to Coronation Street's Andy Whyment, who came second in the jungle, and Jacqueline Jossa from Eastenders, who was named queen of the jungle 2019.

Following three weeks in the jungle, Capital FM's radio presenter Roman Kemp was named third in this year's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! And after a glass of Champagne and chinwag with Ant and Dec, he headed over the rope bridge for what we can imagine was an evening of room service, hot showers and a luxury hotel.

But fans were left feeling pretty gutted for the 26-year-old, when they thought nobody was at the other end of the rope bridge to greet him. "EXCUSE ME WHY WAS THERE NO ONE THERE TO GREET ROMAN?!?!! #ImACeleb #ImACelebFinal," one person wrote, while another added, "if i knew no one was going to meet roman at the end of the bridge, i could have taken their place #ImACeleb"

Thankfully, though, all is not what it seems. Roman's girlfriend Anne-Sophie Flurry took to Instagram Stories to explain she absolutely was there waiting with open arms, but there wasn't time to show the reunion during the episode.

"I was there - scene was cut," she explained to her 29.3k Instagram followers, while alsp later sharing a selfie of the pair reuniting. "Best day ever," she wrote with a selfie.

Roman wasn't the only person fans thought was left lonely on their way out of the jungle. In fact, Twitter was disappointed to see Kendall nor Kylie Jenner was on hand to meet Caitlyn Jenner when she exited the show in fourth place.

It was later revealed that her partner Sophia Hutchins was in Australia with her, taking to Instagram to share a photo of the pair together. "So proud of you @caitlynjenner glad I got to visit the jungle! @imacelebrity," she wrote.

All's well that ends well, right?
