Yahoo Movies Ruth Langsford posts rare photo of her son Jack with Eamonn Holmes
Ruth Langsford has shared a photo of her son Jack on Instagram to celebrate Father's Day and fans were pointing out the family resemblance between Jack and his dad Eamonn Holmes.
The Loose Women presenter posted a throwback black and white picture of herself holding Jack as a baby with husband Eamonn, next to a recent one of the father and son looking smart in suits at a football match.
"Happy Father’s Day @eamonnholmes from me & baby Jack!! Love you," Ruth captioned the images.
Fans and followers were loving the photos, with one commenting: "Ahhh lovely. Jack looks so much like Eamonn."
Another added: "Jack is so tall and very handsome."
Meanwhile, Eamonn also posted a photo of himself with all four of his children on Instagram to mark the special occasion on Sunday. The This Morning host has three children from his former marriage to Gabrielle Holmes – Declan, 32, Rebecca, 30, and Niall, 28.
The 61-year-old broadcaster added the caption: "This is my Four. Niall, Jack, Rebecca and Declan. Proud to have them as my children and I can only hope I make them proud to have me as their Dad."
Ruth recently revealed Jack had left home for university last year, and it had taken her some time to adjust to life at home without him.
"That first week I literally felt like I'd had my womb ripped out," she told Hello!. "I'm better now. We're kind of in week three now, and he's settled really well. "He's being really chilled about it all and coping – he's even cooked something. So that's a good sign."
Ruth and Eamonn welcomed Jack in 2002.
