If you thought after ‘Life’ and ‘Deadpool,’ it was about time we saw Ryan Reynolds take on something a bit more family-friendly again, well… this clearly isn’t that film.

However, if you thought it’s been too long since we’ve heard Samuel L Jackson make repeated use of that one particular word he’s famous for using, but can never say as Nick Fury – well then, you may be in luck.

The first red band teaser trailer has landed for ‘The Hitman’s Bodyguard,’ a new action comedy from Lionsgate, which puts the two actors side-by-side in what looks to be something of an anti-buddy movie. It may play out to the rather incongruous sounds of Whitney Houston’s ‘I Will Always Love You’ (‘The Bodyguard,’ get it?), but it doesn’t look like there’s too much love lost between these guys.

Directed by Patrick Hughes (‘The Expendables 3’), ‘The Hitman’s Bodyguard’ casts Reynolds as the world’s top bodyguard, who is assigned to protect the world’s most wanted hitman (Jackson) so he can testify at a major trial. Naturally, a lot of people with a lot of bullets at their disposal are anxious to keep this from happening.

Salma Hayek also appears, playing someone similarly kick-ass from the look of things, and the supporting cast also includes Elodie Yung, Kirsty Mitchell, Joaquim de Almeida, Sam Hazeldine, Joséphine de La Baume, Rod Hallett and the legendary Gary Oldman.
