Sandra Bullock, star of Ocean's 8, Gravity and Speed 2: Cruise Control, is the latest big-name actor to join Sony's star-studded action thriller Bullet Train.

As reported by Deadline, the actress has been cast in an unrevealed role in the film, which began production back in October last year and continued uninterrupted despite a crew member testing positive for coronavirus (COVID-19).

The film already stars big names like Lady Gaga, Brad Pitt, former Quicksilver Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Kissing Booth star Joey King, Deadpool 2's Zazie Beetz, Perks of Being a Wallflower's Logan Lerman, Heroes' Masi Oka, musician Bad Bunny, stuntman turned actor Andrew Koji, Man of Steel's Michael Shannon, Avengers: Endgame's Hiroyuki Sanada, and The Boys' Karen Fukuhara.

The film is based on a novel that follows a bullet train in Japan where a bunch of assassins gather, and all bunch of crazy hijinks ensue.

Sandra Bullock has a few other projects in the works, including a reunion with Netflix for a remake of an ITV series from 2009 that starred Suranne Jones, and she's joining Channing Tatum for a comedy called The Lost City of D.
