Yahoo Movies Sarah Fuller listed atop Vanderbilt's depth chart, could kick vs. No. 9 Georgia
It looks like Sarah Fuller’s stint as a kicker for Vanderbilt’s football team won't be a one-game thing.
Ahead of the game against No. 9 Georgia on Saturday, Vanderbilt released an updated depth chart on Tuesday. Fuller was the only kicker listed.
Todd Fitch, Vanderbilt’s interim head coach, told reporters that the program is looking at the possibility of adding other kickers to the roster, but the team is planning to bring Fuller on the trip to Athens on Saturday.

According to The Tennessean, Ryley Guay, the team’s primary kicker in 2018 and 2019, is an option to return to the team. Guay attends Vanderbilt’s medical school and has one year of eligibility remaining but needs to go through the proper NCAA clearing process — as well as COVID-19 protocols — to be cleared to play. He made nine of his 11 field goal tries last season.
Meanwhile, Fuller said she plans to stick with the team for the duration of the season even after the firing of head coach Derek Mason over the weekend. After playing Georgia, Vanderbilt has one final game against Tennessee — reportedly on Dec. 12.
Fuller, a senior goaltender for Vanderbilt’s SEC-winning women’s soccer team, became the first woman to play in a Power Five college football game when she took the field on the opening kickoff of the second half last Saturday against Missouri. Fuller squibbed the kick down the right sideline, and Missouri downed it at the 35-yard line.

Fuller, who was named SEC Special Teams Player of the Week, was added to the football roster with the team low on kickers due to COVID-19 issues. Fuller was impressive enough in practice that she was the team’s No. 1 option against Missouri.
The team was blown out 41-0 to drop to 0-8, and that kickoff to open the second half was Fuller’s only opportunity to see any playing time.
Fuller joined New Mexico’s Katie Hnida and Kent State’s April Goss as the only women to play in an FBS college football game.
