Arnie reveals trips to the emergency room.

Schwarzenegger: “I get injured in every movie”

The Terminator himself, Arnold Schwarzenegger, has claimed he has been injured on the set of every action movie he has worked on.

The actor, who’ll be back as the famous cyborg villain in 2015’s ‘Terminator: Genesis’, revealed he has been hurt throughout his film career. But though he has ended up in the emergency room once or twice, his mishaps have never shut down a set.

He told BANG Showbiz: “Producers don't like you to get injured, I get injured in every movie, but its small things like banging you're head on the camera - and you just go and get stitched up quickly in the emergency room and then you come right back and continue shooting - but when you injure your leg or shoulder that's when things shut down.”

The actor and former bodybuilder maintains his fitness at the grand old age of 66, but has admitted that there are certain exercises he can no longer do.

“I feel the same as I felt when I was 25 years old, the only thing is that my body doesn’t feel the same. You make certain adjustments and enjoy life exactly the same way, but you are not a machine,” he told The Independent.

But despite his years, Arnie has no plans to retire.

“I don’t even consider retirement because I haven’t heard of any good experiences of people who have done that,” he said. “I have seen people who retired at the age of 60, being the head of a studio, or people who have retired from politics at the age of 65, and they are lost. For myself, I would get bored, I always like to have a challenge.”
