See the best-dressed teams at the Olympics opening ceremony

The Winter Olympics in PyeongChang, South Korea, officially kicked off Friday. The opening ceremony began with enchanting performances by both North Korea and South Korea, which, in a rare move, were united under one flag.

Although the next few weeks will be focused on fierce competition, the night was a joyous and celebratory preamble filled with cheering, dancing, and patriotic fashion. The first team to take the stage was Greece, per tradition, with the athletes wearing matching navy jackets and pants, along with simple gray knit beanies. Ghana soon followed and went with more colorful outerwear that honored the nation’s flag. Later, Team USA made its grand debut while wearing jeans with down coats, wooly sweaters, and “Wild West” fringe gloves.

But overall, when it comes to fashion, winter apparel was front and center. After all, temperatures in PyeongChang hover between 20 and 30 degrees Fahrenheit. So if you’ve been looking for a little winter wardrobe inspiration, look no further than these elite athletes. We believe you’ll get your fix of parkas, puffers, hats, snow boots, and more in nearly every shade.

Despite the temperatures, not everyone was dressed in winter gear: Team Bermuda decided to brave the cold and wear their traditional red shorts paired with classy blue blazers. And the famous, shirtless (and greasy) Tongan flag bearer, Pita Taufatofua, was back to show off his abs — and compete as a cross-country skier too.

Without further ado, ahead, the best 2018 Olympics opening ceremony team outfits.
