Shaun The Sheep: First Film Trailer Released

Fans of the Oscar-winning work of Aardman have been given a first glimpse of the new Shaun The Sheep film.

The stop-motion movie follows the farm animal as he heads for the big city.

It is directed by Mark Burton and Richard Starzack, who have also written the script.

Shaun was first seen in the short film A Close Shave, which was directed by Nick Park and won an Academy Award and Bafta for best short animated film.

Filming is taking place at Aardman 's home in Bristol and is being financed by Studiocanal.

Shaun The Sheep was a spin-off of the Wallace And Gromit franchise and was first aired in the UK on CBBC in 2007.

It is in its fourth series and has been broadcast in 180 countries.

The film will be released in cinemas worldwide from spring 2015.
