Another gender-flipped reboot is in the works and this time it's '90s teen comedy She's All That.

Variety reports that TikTok star Addison Rae Easterling has signed up for the main role in He's All That, with Mean Girls director Mark Waters potentially behind the camera.

Featuring names like the late Paul Walker, Rachael Leigh Cook, Freddie Prinze Jr, Anna Paquin, Kieran Culkin and Matthew Lillard, the original movie followed a high school jock who gets dumped by his girlfriend – after which he attempts to transform a nerdy outcast into the next prom queen.

"This reboot is a welcome step towards a new generation of Miramax storytelling, part of our greater strategy to leverage our existing library with fresh, re-imagined content in both film and TV," commented Miramax CEO Bill Block.

She's All That writer R Lee Fleming is back for this one too, offering a 21st century spin on the original concept – He's All That centres on a social media influencer trying to give a nerdy lad the highly-coveted prom king crown.

For those unacquainted with 19-year-old Easterling, the star has the second-most amount of followers on TikTok (60 million).

Apparently, she's the highest-paid user of the social media platform and now becomes one of the first to switch over to major motion pictures.
