Shia LaBeouf tweets nude pic

Never one to be shy of his body, Shia LaBeouf has tweeted a rather revealing snap of himself on his Twitter account.

Thanks a bunch Shia, we were just thinking about what to have for lunch...

OK, it's his own rather shameless promotion for his forthcoming film 'Charlie Countryman', but his avid female/male fanbase won't much care about the context.

He appears 'au naturelle' in the pic from the movie in a manky-looking backroom next to a crate.

The film follows LaBeouf on a trip to Romania where he meets and falls in love with a woman, Gabi, played by Evan Rachel Wood, and falls foul of her mobster boyfriend, 'Casino Royale' star Mads Mikkelsen.

It also stars Rupert Grint, Melissa Leo and, oddly, 'The Inbetweeners' star James Buckley.

LaBeouf said that he took LSD on the set of the film in order to make a drugs scene more realistic.

“There’s a way to do an acid trip like Harold & Kumar and there's a way to be on acid,” he said. “What I know of acting, Sean Penn actually strapped up to that electric chair in 'Dead Man Walking'. These are the guys that I look up to.”

But LaBeouf is now getting a reputation for getting his kit off.

He was fully nude in the video for Sigur Ros's track Fjogur Piano, released last year.

He also recently appeared, nipples bared, in the 'sex face' series of posters for Lars Von Triers' controversial forthcoming movie 'Nymphomaniac', which features unstimulated sex scenes.

'Charlie Countryman' is due out on November 8, while 'Nymphomaniac' has yet to secure a UK release date.
