Smriti Irani, the Union Cabinet Minister for Textiles and Women & Child Development, has shut down a Twitter troll who referred to her as 'nachaniya' (dancer).

The troll also described Irani as someone who dances in front of 'Ranga-Billa', an apparent reference to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Home Minister Amit Shah.

The Amethi MP retaliated in style, tweeting: 'Statements like these are an everyday battle that women across the country collide with. Water off my back as I have become used to the abuse. Question is how do we address this challenge online?'.

The name of the troll is G.G. Upadhyay and he's ostensibly a Congress supporter. Upadhyay later deleted his tweet but did not issue an apology.
