Heartthrob romcom star Noah Centineo is set to win himself a whole new arsenal of fans when he wields the power of Grayskull as He-Man in Sony’s new Masters of the Universe movie, which will now arrive in 2021.
The studio has announced that the film, based on a Mattel toy line, will arrive on 5 March 2021.
Masters of the Universe has been in development over at Sony for more than a decade and will revamp the He-Man character, who was played in a 1987 film adaptation by Dolph Lundgren.

The character first arrived as a toy line and connected series of comics in the early 1980s, spawning a successful animated TV series which ran from 1983 until 1985.
In the series, He-Man was the alter ego of Prince Adam of Eternia, who was given the power to transform into the warrior by the Sorceress of Castle Grayskull.
His arch-enemy was the demonic sorcerer Skeletor - a master of black magic.

The film adaptation of the series, produced by Cannon Films, was a box office flop and made just $17m (£13.3m) from a budget of $22m (£17.3m).
It marked Lundgren’s first leading role and saw Frank Langella play Skeletor, with Courteney Cox also a part of the cast.
Directing duo Aaron and Adam Nee have been tapped to helm the new movie, which was originally set for a Christmas 2019 release.
Mattel is currently pushing forward a number of different movie outings for its toy lines, with Barbie in the works at Warner Bros and Hot Wheels revving into life with Warner as well.
