If you have a spare $1.4 million lying around, you can get this solid gold Darth Vader mask

Here's one for a Star Wars fan who has money to burn. 

A Darth Vader mask made of solid gold will go on sale in Japan next week, with the hefty price tag of $1.4 million.

Japanese jeweller Tanaka Kikinzoku unveiled the 15kg (33 lbs) sculpture on Tuesday, which was commissioned to mark the 40th anniversary of Star Wars.

The 24 karat gold mask will be available for purchase — when else? — on May the 4th, otherwise known as Star Wars Day.

The jewellers are also planning to release gold coins in celebration of the anniversary, for a range between $1,200 and $11,000.
