Spider-Man: Homecoming Eyes Logan Marshall-Green

It looks as though ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ has found another villain…

According to The Hollywood Reporter, 39-year-old Logan Marshall-Green could be about to join the upcoming ‘Spider-Man’ reboot.

“Logan Marshall-Green is in talks to join Michael Keaton in Spider-Man: Homecoming,” they reveal, “Sony’s reboot of its franchise on which it has partnered with Marvel Studios.”

Logan Marshall-Green is best known for the role of Charlie Holloway in Ridley Scott’s recent sci-fi flick, ‘Prometheus’. But he’s also appeared in several episodes of ‘24’ and ‘The O.C.’ as well as nabbing a starring role in the TNT TV series, ‘Dark Blue’.

But who will he be playing in ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’?

“[Michael] Keaton is playing the main bad guy in the movie and Marshall-Green would swing in as an evildoer alongside him.”

Unfortunately, the identity of this secondary villain is being kept firmly under wraps… and considering the vast array of ‘Spider-Man’ villains to choose from, it’s not going to be easy to pin this one down.

Not to mention that he could be playing an entirely new character.

‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ stars Tom Holland as the new Spider-Man, with Marissa Tomei, Tony Revolori, Laura Harrier, Zendaya and Michael Keaton.

Jon Watts will direct, based on a script by John Francis Daley and Jonathan M. Goldstein.

‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ heads to cinemas on 28 July 2017.
