A DRIVER has been spotted blocking a road in Oxford while an ambulance was trying to pass.
The black Mercedes was seen parked next to the low-traffic neighbourhood (LTN) bollards at the end of Marston Street yesterday (11) at about 3.38pm.
The emergency vehicle was trying to through onto Cowley Road by the driver of the sports car appeared to be running an errand momentarily.
After a couple of minutes, the driver reappeared and jumped into his vehicle before driving away, allowing the emergency vehicle onto Cowley Road.
It turned its sirens back on once it was able to leave the street.
A witness said he had “no idea” what the driver had left his car to do but described the incident as “idiotic”.
