Star-Lord Confirmed For Avengers: Infinity War?

It looks as though Star-Lord may appear in ‘Avengers: Infinity War’.

During an interview with ComicBook.com, ‘Captain America: Civil War’ director Anthony Russo teased an appearance from the Guardians of the Galaxy.

“The movies are intended to be a culmination of everything that’s happened before in the MCU so you don’t want to get into spoilers but I’m a big fan of what James Gunn has done,” he explained. “[Joe Russo and I] are both big fans of what James Gunn has done. Star-Lord is a fantastic character and Chris Pratt is an awesome performer so you’d be very excited.”

Although he sort-of skirts around the news, it seems obvious from Russo’s comments that ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ star Chris Pratt will be teaming up with The Avengers in ‘Infinity War’.

And why wouldn’t he…

‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ clearly put Star-Lord on Thanos’s radar – and with ‘Infinity War’ presumably pitting Earth’s Mightiest Heroes against Marvel’s ultimate big bad, it would be more surprising if Star-Lord and the Guardians didn’t appear.

But he’s not the only one returning to Earth for ‘Infinity War’.

“I’m excited to work with Thor,“ said co-director Joe Russo. “They’re doing some really interesting stuff with Ragnarok and where he’s gonna be at the beginning of Infinity War is gonna be a very interesting place and I think very profound. I think he’s gonna have a real emotional motivation after that.”

How will Star-Lord appear in ‘Infinity War’ and will the rest of the Guardians be with him?

For now, we’ll have to wait and see… but let’s hope he brings some kick-ass tunes with him.
