Daisy Ridley has joined the cast of ‘Star War: Episode 7’. Sorry, Daisy who?

She is the complete unknown in the recently announced cast list for JJ Abrmas’ upcoming sequel. Unknown until now.

It’s a testament to the British-born actor’s anonymity that she doesn’t even have her own Wikipedia page.

Her CV’s made up of TV work, which started, naturally enough, with a guest spot on ‘Casualty’.

Her most recent appearance on British TV was a small role in ‘Mr. Selfridge’, but she’s also showed up in ‘Silent Witness’ and ‘yoof’ drama ‘Youngers’ – which she was cast in straight out of drama school.

Her biggest break, before ‘Star Wars’ at any rate, is a role in the ‘The Inbetweeners 2’ which is released later this year.

This will give fans a first chance to see her on the big screen.

There’s scant information about the actress online – we can’t even find out how old she is.

On the website of her agent, Jonathan Arun, it says her playing age is 16 – 20.

It also says she is ‘highly skilled’ at cabaret singing, jazz dancing, jazz singing, mezzo-soprano, tap and swimming.

Whether any of these skills come in useful on the 'Star Wars’ set remains to be seen.

She is joined in the cast by fellow newcomers John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, and Max von Sydow.

Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, and Kenny Baker all reprise their roles from the original triligy.

Director J.J. Abrams said in a statement: "We are so excited to finally share the cast of Star Wars: Episode VII. It is both thrilling and surreal to watch the beloved original cast and these brilliant new performers come together to bring this world to life, once again. We start shooting in a couple of weeks, and everyone is doing their best to make the fans proud."

'Star Wars: Episode VII' will hit cinemas worldwide 18 December, 2015.
