With the original 'Star Wars' trio of Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford all but certain to return for 'Episode 7', it's looking increasingly likely that their characters' kids will be the focus of the new trilogy.
Earlier this week we laid out a very brief history of the Skywalker and Solo children Jaina, Jacen, Anakin and Ben.
We now turn our attention to who could or should play these parts, carry the weight of expectation and be more than a match for their cinematic parentage. We start with Jaina...

Jennifer LawrenceAn obvious choice but no less interesting because of it. Off the back of her first and probably not last Best Actress Oscar win Hollywood casting agents are fighting a bloody war to sign the signature of Miss Lawrence.
Jaina Solo and her twin brother Jacen will need to carry the traits of their parents, so they'll both be extremely confident. Lawrence has always portrayed this, even in her quieter roles as the driven women fighting to support their empoverished families in 'Winters Bone' and 'The Hunger Games'. There was always confidence in her characters.
We also know thanks to 'The Hunger Games' how adept she is at action and supporting a major franchise. However 'Hunger Games' sequels are planned right up until 2015, so she may be both a bit busy and a bit tired of big budget cinema by the time 'Episode 7' comes around.
Chloë Grace MoretzYounger than Lawrence but no less a star. Moretz found fame as Hit Girl in Matthew Vaughn's 'Kick Ass', so when Vaughn's name was in the running for 'Star Wars 7' Moretz name was also.
'Kick Ass' is a franchise now, but it's not a mainstream one and up-and-coming starlets like Moretz tend to be on the look out for big budget films to take them to the next level. Assuming 'Episode 7' takes place 30 years after 'Return of the Jedi' as rumoured however, she may be a bit young at 16.
The younger sister of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen won't be described as such for much longer. She's a star in her own right and when it comes to acting a damn sight more talented to say the least.
Last year she won plaudits for her starring role in 'Martha Marcy May Marlene' and eyes are on her upcoming roles in Spike Lee's 'Oldboy' and the new attempt to bring 'Godzilla' to the West in 2014.
Olsen is near enough perfect for the role and will by the time filming for 'Episode 7' begins have enough experience of big budget productions to assure people who think she may not be ready.
Woodley came very close to stealing the show in last year's 'The Descendants', which is no mean feat considering George Clooney's Oscar-nominated leading role in that film.
She's a hot property then, as evidenced by her picking up the part of Mary-Jane Watson in 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2' which is currently filming for release next year. It's a role that may keep her busy for a while however.
Ellen PageIt feels like Ellen Page has been around for ages, but at 26 there's still plenty to come from her and 'Star Wars 7' might be a great fit.
Always confident and cocksure despite her small stature, she carries a similar vibe in films like 'Inception' and 'Juno' to Princess Leia - always seeking to prove herself in a male-dominated world/galaxy.
No stranger to the spotlight it's easy to see why J.J. Abrams might show an interest in her.
