Steven Cheung says sorry for cheating scandal

31 Jul – BOY'Z member Steven Cheung finally broke his silence on the cheating scandal that has been plaguing him since last week.

As reported on Mingpao, the singer, who has keep mum on the issue since it was first exposed by ex-girlfriend April Leung and several other women involved, took to Instagram on 30 July to express his apology.

He wrote, "I am sorry to Kenny [Kwan] and the company. My bad behaviour has affected everyone. I will never be forgiven even if I apologised to each and every one who was hurt by me. But I still want to say it again: I made a mistake and I apologise for it."

Steven also expressed his gratitude to his fiancée Man Man, saying that she was very understanding after learning about the whole issue.

"I promise to be a responsible person and take care of her and our baby. I will try my best to change my ways. I know that the roads ahead would be difficult, but I hope that you will give me the opportunity to change and become a better person," he added.

Steven made headlines last week after stage actress April Leung expressed her shock over his announcement that he is marrying his girlfriend and baby mama Man Man. The actress stated that she was blindsided by the news as she was still with the singer two days prior.

More women had since come forward, saying that they too were cheated by Steven, who not only toyed with their feelings, but borrowed a huge amount of money from them as well.

The news has also affected fellow BOY'Z member Kenny Kwan, as their Hong Kong Coliseum concert was halted because of it.
