Strictly Come Dancing is just days away from its annual Blackpool episode – aka the glitziest, most spectacular episode of the series – but in her excitement Stacey Dooley may have got herself in trouble for letting a little detail slip on It Takes Two.

And when we say little, we do mean really tiny, so we're pretty sure she's fine in sharing it.

As Stacey and her professional partner Kevin Clifton appeared on Strictly: It Takes Two last night (November 14), they reflected on their brilliant Waltz from last week, before host Zoe Ball began complimenting Stacey on her ability to pull off any hairstyle.

"Can I just say, you can rock any hairdo, finger wave, bouffy bouffant, you can do it all, Stace, I'm so jealous," Zoe began.

"The hairdressers are here today," Stacey replied. "And she said, 'You're having bi-'... Can I say? Oh, I'll be in trouble."

Deciding to go for it anyway, Stacey then continued: "I'm having big curly hair Saturday. Like massive sort-of Carrie Bradshaw vibes."

Ok, so it's not the most spoiler-y of details, but if we're not watching for the dances, we're watching for the costumes, right?

That Carrie Bradshaw hair will be seen as Stacey and Kevin perform a Salsa to – quite possibly the best, most '90s song you're ever likely to hear on Strictly – Gina G's 'Ooh Ahh (Just a Little Bit)'.

Elsewhere this week, Stacey opened up about why she agreed to sign up for Strictly, revealing that she wanted to show the side of her that's not the serious-minded journalist we often see in her documentaries.

"That's not my whole persona, there are other sides," she said. "It's nice to be able to enjoy the lighter side of life as well and the flamboyant, frivolous side of things. It's escapism for me, I'm loving it."

Strictly Come Dancing continues on Saturday (November 17) at 6.45pm, followed by the results show on Sunday (November 18) at 7.20pm.
