Love Island star Kem Cetinay and Katie Price will star on this year’s Celebrity MasterChef.

They will join Strictly Come Dancing professional Johannes Radebe and former EastEnders actress Rita Simons, as well as TV host Joe Swash and Blue singer Duncan James.

Also hoping to impress is comedian Munya Chawawa, Melanie Skykes, actress Su Pollard and Loose Women star Penny Lancaster.

In total, 20 celebrities will take part in the series hosted by MasterChef judges John Torode and Gregg Wallace.

Britain’s Got Talent finalist and comedian Nabil Abdulrashid and The Great British Sewing Bee judge Patrick Grant will also feature in this year’s line-up.

Broadcast over six weeks, the celebrities will tackle a new series of cookery challenges, with renowned chefs Tom Kerridge, Nisha Katona, Nieves Barragan Mohacho appearing as guest judges.

Series editor Katie Attwood said: “This year’s line-up promises a huge amount of humour and entertainment. Lockdown has proved productive for our famous faces’ culinary skills and we are set to see some exceptional talent and astonishing dishes as the celebrities swap their day jobs for a spot in the MasterChef kitchen.”

However one star who isn’t confident in her abilities is Katie Price who joked to followers that she “could burn a cup of tea”.

Posting a picture of herself in the MasterChef kitchen she joked: “It has been said that I could burn a cup of tea….this should be interesting @BBCOne @MasterChefUK #masterchef.”

Sarah Clay, commissioning editor for the BBC, said the series would be as “entertaining and charming as ever”.

“The 20 brave celebrities are joined by a host of chefs at the top of their game in brand new tasks which makes this year feel extra special. The standard of cooking is like nothing we have seen before,” she said.

The 2020 series of Celebrity MasterChef was won by Irish-Iraqi broadcaster and YouTube star Riyadh Khalaf.
