Student Cosplay Fan Delivers Presentation Dressed As Batman

If you’re a committed cosplayer, there’s really only one way of delivering a presentation on the history of cosplay.

And no one knows that better than 24-year-old part-time student Raymond Luna, who attends Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut, California.

As a member of a group called The Cosplay Leaguers, he and his girlfriend Alex Morris dress mostly as Batman – clearly Batfleck era, judging by the costume – and Wonder Woman, respectively.

Speaking to Metro, he said: “I wanted to cosplay since a kid. I mean who doesn’t want to be a superhero?

Tell me. Did you study?! You will!😂📖🙌

“I’ve been cosplaying for a year and half now. I have done Arrow from the CW TV show, Star-Lord from ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’, and Kylo Ren from 'Star Wars’. I guess you can say I’ve been at least one character from each major universe.”

And thus, he delivered his lecture on the subject in full regalia – with the blessing of his tutor, Professor Elizabeth Crossman – to the rest of his public speaking class, part of his computer science course.

He even used the voice-changing mask to present in.

With help from Wonder Woman, he documented the whole day, from arrival at college and prepping his speech, to the class photo afterwards, on his Instagram page (handle 'tonystark626’).

“I went in and everybody was in awe,” he added.

The clip of his entrance to his class has so far been liked nearly 47,000 times.

“I’m always excited when others approve of this,” he added.

“I know there was a time when cosplaying was frowned upon and looked at differently. In today’s society, many people want to get in on the fun.”
