Sugababe Heidi Range won't let hubby of seven years see her naked

New mum Heidi Range fears passing insecurities on to daughter, she says on White Wine Question Time episode
New mum Heidi Range has told White Wine Question Time podcast listeners that she yelled at her husband for catching her naked

Here’s a head-scratcher: the ABSOLUTELY STUNNING Heidi Range says she recently YELLED at her poor husband for walking into her dressing room and catching sight of her bod while she was moisturising her legs.

She made the odd – but admittedly relatable – confession on the latest episode of Kate Thornton’s new podcast, White Wine Question Time, saying:

“My husband came into my wardrobe the other day, and I’m bent over moisturising my legs under those cellulite lights – you know, spotlights? – and I just went APE. I was like, ‘What are you doing? Get out! GET OUT! Don’t look at me!’

Heidi says her husband was (rightly) flabbergasted.

“He said, ‘You’re my WIFE. Of course I’m gonna look. What’s wrong with you? You’re beautiful.’ But I was MORTIFIED. We’ve been together for seven years. He’s seen me give birth. But I’ve just never been comfortable [in my own skin].”

Heidi Range confessed to White Wine Question Time host, Kate Thornton
Hard to imagine feeling self conscious in her shoes, but Heidi Range insists she has always struggled

The former Sugababe, who welcomed her first baby with husband Alex Partakis in January last year, said self image was something she’d always struggled with.

“I’ve never been body confident, and I’ve been so many different sizes. And even when I’ve been tiny I remember feeling self-conscious. I’ve just never been comfortable. I’ve never been one of those girls who feels good walking around in a bikini.”

Now the new mum fears passing on her insecurities to her one-year-old daughter, Aurelia. “I don’t want her to ever think about what her body looks like because it’s not important,” she said.

Fellow guest Angela Griffin had some wise words: “For our daughters to feel like that, we have to feel like that.”

And podcast host Kate Thornton reassured her, saying: “Heidi Range, you are without doubt one of the most beautiful human beings I know. Inside and out.”

You tell her, Kate! If only we could all see ourselves as our friends do.
