    British director Rupert Wyatt is set to direct the pilot of Fox’s upcoming TV reboot of horror classic ‘The Exorcist’. Wyatt is best known for crime thriller 'The Escapist’ and 'Rise of the Planet of the Apes’ - the successful reboot of the famed sci-fi series that spawned a sequel in 2014 and another set for release in 2017. The pilot’s script is being written by 'Fantastic Four’ writer Jeremy Slater.

    Channing Tatum’s long-gestating ‘X-Men’ spin-off ‘Gambit’ may finally be able to begin shooting after losing its original director at the eleventh hour.
