Even when you give them every chance to improve, these movies just don't get better.
Jon Feltheimer, the CEO of indie studio Lionsgate, has admitted the film ‘Allegiant’ might have been rushed out a bit too quickly. The Shailene Woodley film, the third in the ‘Divergent’ series and based on Veronica Roth’s dystopian YA novels, was a great disappointment both financially and critically.
Lionsgate shares are under pressure this morning after “Allegiant,” the third film in the “Divergent” franchise, stumbled at the box office, opening to a lackluster $29 million.
