    Disney is officially the best performing Hollywood studio of 2016, having made a staggering profit of $2.5 billion (£2 billion) last year.     2016 to break box office record thanks to Disney

    2016 has been another huge year for Hollywood. It has now been projected by comScore, via The Hollywood Reporter, that the box office revenue in 2016 will eventually finish at $11.3 billion, surpassing the $11.14 billion of 2015. On Monday the continuing success of ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’ and ‘Sing’ meant that 2016 passed $11.05 billion at the box office, which was 2.3 percent more than this time last year.
