District 9 director Neill Blomkamp has been teasing a remake of the ‘80s classic Flight Of The Navigator on his Twitter page
Born Deleriyes Joe Cramer, the young actor must have thought he was on the road to stardom when he scooped the lead aged 12, following roles as Tom Selleck’s son in 1984’s ‘Runaway’ and opposite Daryl Hannah in 1986 caveman drama ‘The Clan of the Cave Bear’. Once David is sent into the future, he finds himself face-to-face with his formerly younger brother, who’s now a spotty teenager.
Joey Cramer, the child actor who starred in 1986 fantasy movie ‘Flight Of The Navigator’, has been arrested and charged with holding up a bank in Canada. According to The Coast Reporter, Cramer was arrested on May 1 following the robbery, which happened on April 28 at the Scotiabank in Sechelt, British Columbia. “Despite the fact that a disguise was used during the robbery, the suspect was quickly identified by some of our officers, who had recently dealt with him on an unrelated matter,” said Constable Harrison Mohr of the Sunshine Coast Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
