Jurassic World 2: Everything you need to know

‘Jurassic Park’ fans waited fourteen years for a fourth film in the classic series, and when it finally arrived it made a huge impact – becoming the fourth highest-grossing film of all time. More specifically, young people love them, and for younger generations ‘Jurassic World’ would have been a first taste of the series. JA Bayona will develop Bryce Dallas Howard's character beyond heels in Jurassic World 2

‘Jurassic World’ was one of 2015’s biggest movies, making an incredible $1.6 billion during its cinema run and attracted plenty of attention regarding its lead woman, Bryce Dallas Howard, largely her skill for outrunning a T.rex in high heels. When Bayona spoke to Birth.Movies.Death, he was quick to dismiss the ongoing internet discussion about how (and why) Claire ran in heels.

Jurassic World 2 will be more closely connected to Jurassic Park

‘Jurassic World 2’ will naturally continue the story started in 2015’s soft reboot of the dino-loving franchise, but it will also have a strong connection to Steven Spielberg’s 1993 original, according to new director JA Bayona. Asked by Cinema Blend the extent to which the sequel will be ‘Jurassic Park 5’ as well as ‘Jurassic World 2’, he said: “That’s a good question! I think somehow it’s both. It’s a very good question, and what we’re doing is a sequel to ‘Jurassic World’, but it’s definitely the fifth chapter of a longer saga.
