Gentle Touch star Jill Gascoine in 'advanced stages' of Alzheimer's, says husband Alfred Molina

Jill Gascoine, star of 80s TV shows like ‘The Gentle Touch’, is now in the advanced stages of Alzheimer’s, her husband, the actor Alfred Molina, has revealed. Gascoine, who is 79, has been suffering from the degenerative disease for the last four years, with Molina now describing her outlook as ‘bleak’. “Alzheimer’s is a cowardly disease. It creeps up on you from behind and by the time you realise you’ve got it you’re probably not realising much else. It’s a stinker,” he told the Radio Times. “I
