After countless incarnations of ‘Robin Hood’, that range from the good to the bad to the Crowe, the upcoming reboot of the character was always going to need a different hook to make it stand-out. Like seemingly every other reboot or blockbuster the team in charge of ‘Robin Hood: Origins’ have decided that their incarnation will be very serious and gritty, and they’re even going as far as to give Taron Edgerton’s Robin Hood post-traumatic stress disorder. Producer Basil Iwaynk made this revelation to Collider, while he also teased that the “fractured society” that Robin Hood comes back to is very relevant to today’s climate.

2015′s ‘Kingsman: The Secret Service’ surprised everyone when it was greeted with hugely positive reviews and a generally positive reception from cinema goers. Jackson, and Mark Strong and managed to sufficiently poke fun at the James Bond type movies whilst retaining its own identity and credibility.
After his untimely death in ‘Kingsman: The Secret Service’, it looked as though the future of Harry Hart had been cut short. A crying shame – after all, ‘Kingsman’ saw Colin Firth at his finest, kicking ass as the gentleman spy alongside Taron Egerton.
Vinnie Jones has joined ‘Kingsman: The Golden Circle’.
