According to Collider, Warner Bros and DC are pressing on with a second ‘Man of Steel’ movie starring Henry Cavill, and they want British director Matthew Vaughn to take the helm.
Given how ubiquitous Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson seems to be on the Hollywood stage of late, it’s easy to forget that he’s also set to become part of the DC Extended Universe. Instead, Johnson will portray Black Adam, a dark anti-hero with powers equivalent to Shazam – and given these powers include flight, super-strength and super-speed, he can also give Superman a run for his money. As such, Johnson has long hinted that he may well go toe-to-toe with Henry Cavill’s Man of Steel at some point – and now, both men have reminded fans that this is still on the cards.
