Taking on the mentor and trainer role played by Burgess Meredith in the original movie, Sly offers to train up the budding fighter Adonis Creed. Just to recap – Creed, played by Carl Weathers, was killed in the boxing ring by Dolph Lundgren’s Russian iron man Ivan Drago in 'Rocky IV’, way back 1985.
