    Eddie Redmayne, star of ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them’, has revealed he once he once auditioned to play a young Voldemort in ’Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets’. The Oscar-winning actor did so back in 2001, but lost out to Christian Coulson, who played the Hogwarts student who would become He Who Must Not Be Named: Tom Marvolo Riddle. “I actually auditioned to play Tom Riddle while I was at university,” Redmayne told Empire Magazine (issue 330).
