    'Don't Look Now': Venice clip

    For the first time ever in 4K, Ultra High Definition restoration of Nicolas Roeg’s iconic thriller Don't Look Now (1973) will open in UK cinemas on 5 July. This version of the film will also be released on DVD and Blu-Ray and in a new collector’s edition on 29 July, which will include previously unseen extras material and newly commissioned artwork by illustrator Jeremy Enecio.

    This is most definitely the case with ‘Don’t Look Now,’ the revered cult horror masterpiece from director Nicolas Roeg, for which remake plans were announced earlier this year. The original film’s leading man Donald Sutherland has nothing but contempt for the idea. Based on a Daphne Du Maurier story, ‘Don’t Look Now’ starred Sutherland and Julie Christie as a married couple struggling to come to terms with the death of their infant daughter, who come to believe her spirit is trying to reach th
