The set was originally designed by fan creator Andrew Clark who submitted his design based on the BBC’s hit sci-fi show to LEGO Ideas, the official crowdsourcing community of the Danish toy makers, where it received overwhelming public support and was selected to become part of the LEGO Group’s product portfolio.
After much rumour and speculation, actress Jenna Coleman has confirmed she’s quit ‘Doctor Who’ and has already filmed her final scenes. The star who’s played the Doctor’s companion Clara Oswald since 2012 revealed all to Nick Grimshaw on the Radio 1 breakfast show telling him, “I have left the Tardis, it’s happened already, I’ve filmed my last scenes,” adding her exit had “been in the works for a very long time”. Coleman has moved on to star in a lavish new eight-part ITV drama where she’ll play a young Queen Victoria.
