    ‘Justice League’ Post-Credits Scene Explained

    The so-called DC Extended Universe of connected DC Comics movies continues on this week with “Justice League,” Warner Bros. big superhero teamup movie featuring the likes of Batman, Wonder Woman, the Flash, Aquaman and, yes, Superman. One of those ways, notably, is that “Justice League” is a departure from DC movie tradition in that it features both a mid-credits scene and a post-credits scene that teases the future of the DCEU. After the credits we get an actual tease for a future DCEU movie.

    Very few tentpole extravaganzas nowadays can resist a post-credit “stinger” — the fact Logan didn’t have a tease-the-inevitable-follow-up sequence (in favor of an exclusive pre-movie Deadpool clip) seemed almost shocking. You’ll recall 2015’s Guardians of the Galaxy had a stinger — featuring Howard the Duck, no less — so it’s no surprise to hear that its follow-up also will give viewers a little something extra.
