The founder of the MeToo movement says the American network E! should not send Ryan Seacrest to cover the Oscars 2018 red carpet. “They really shouldn’t send him [to the Oscars],” Tarana Burke, who started the MeToo movement in the wake of multiple accusations against producer Harvey Weinstein, told Variety.

Major publicists are quickly arranging for their high-profile clients to avoid Ryan Seacrest at the Academy Awards, according to Page Six. Earlier this week, Seacrest was the subject of a bombshell Variety piece alleging serious sexual misconduct by the famed host -- and despite firm denials by both Seacrest and E!, the story is making waves.
