The Weinstein Company have launched an appeal against the Motion Picture Association of America’s decision to give drama ‘3 Generations’ an R-rating. Made in 2015 and originally entitled ‘About Ray,’ the film from director/co-writer Gaby Dellal stars Elle Fanning as Ray, a teenage transgender male anxious to start transitioning.
Some would go for a nice round-the-world cruise in their retirement, but not Susan Sarandon. The outspoken actress, now 69, has said she’s mulling a move into the adult movie business over comfortable shoes and a nice game of bowls. Sarandon is currently at the Cannes Film Festival celebrating the 25th anniversary of 'Thelma & Louise’, along with co-star Geena Davis.
Susan Sarandon launched a scathing attack on Woody Allen over claims of child abuse. During a panel discussion about women’s issue in the movie business at the Cannes Film Festival, the outspoken actress repeated the allegations that have been levelled at the director, saying that he had ‘sexually assaulted a child and I don’t think that is right’. “I have nothing good to say about Woody Allen, so I don’t think we should go there,” added Sarandon.
Geena Davis has said that classic feminist road movie ‘Thelma & Louise’ could have been rather different, had she got her way. Perhaps the 23-year-old budding musician and DJ is gunning for a part in 'Zoolander 3’.

Also set to star are Victoria Justice in Susan Sarandon’s role of Janet, Ryan McCarten as Brad, and the recently announced Adam Lambert as Eddie, originally played by Meat Loaf.
