    Leonardo DiCaprio set to play Elvis’s producer in upcoming biopic

    Hollywood A-lister Leonardo DiCaprio has signed on to play the producer of rock ‘n’ roll icon Elvis, it’s been revealed. According to Variety, Paramount has secured the rights to the biography ‘Sam Phillips: The Man Who Invented Rock ‘N’ Roll’, which they plan to bring to the big screen. Significantly though, DiCaprio is reported to be attached to both produce and star in the movie.

    Bill Paxton Will Play Lead In Training Day Sequel

    Antoine Fuqua’s CBS sequel to ‘Training Day’ will star Bill Paxton as the equivalent to Denzel Washington’s crooked cop from the 2001 movie. In an interesting turn of events, the follow-up will be set 15 years after the original that took to the streets with Washington’s Alonzo Harris and trainee Jake Hoyte (played by Ethan Hawke). Paxton will assume the role of Frank Rourke, a corrupt LAPD Detective, with the role of trainee still not cast.
