Empire report that work is underway on ‘Paranormal Event Response Unit,’ a six-part 30 minute comedy series based around dim-witted police officers Karen (Karen O’Leary) and Mike (Mike Minogue). As the title suggests, the series will see the two Wellington cops investigating paranormal activity, which should be no small task given that ‘What We Do in the Shadows’ saw the NZ capital full of vampires and werewolves.
