Ted Bundy's girlfriend set to reveal all after almost 40 years in new Amazon documentary series
A new Amazon Prime documentary series will lift the lid on the crimes of Ted Bundy from a female perspective, with the help of his former girlfriend.
Ted Bundy: Falling for a Killer will analyse Bundy’s crimes with a particular eye on how the serial killer’s attitude towards women clashed with the increasingly prominent feminist politics of the 1970s.

Bundy’s long-term girlfriend Elizabeth Kendall will appear as part of the show, discussing her relationship with Bundy almost four decades after her memoir The Phantom Prince: My Life with Ted Bundy was unveiled in 1981.
Her daughter, Molly, will also be interviewed and the series will hear from some survivors of Bundy, as well as revealing an archive of photos that have never been seen before.
Amazon’s press release promises that the show will “forever change the Bundy narrative and provoke a discussion around gender politics that hauntingly resonates today”.
The five-part series from Amazon Studios is due to launch in 2020 in over 200 countries worldwide, including the UK and Ireland.
Trish Wood will take on the director’s chair for the series, bringing her years of experience as a journalist and filmmaker for Canadian broadcaster CBC and its current affairs programme The Fifth Estate.

Falling for a Killer is the latest in a run of Bundy-related projects that have been released in the last year, including Netflix series Conversations with a Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes and the drama film Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile, in which Zac Efron played the lead role.
Ted Bundy confessed to 30 murders committed between 1974 and 1978, but the true number of his victims is unknown.
He was executed in the electric chair in 1989 at the age of 42 and remains one of the most notorious serial killers in American history.
